Angel (Warren Worthington III) is a superhero and a member of the X-Men in the Ultimate Marvel Universe and is based on Angel from the Marvel Universe.
Origin[]
After discovering that he is a mutant, Warren Worthington III was invited to join the X-Men to help fight for mutant rights.
Biography[]
Warren Worthington III was born to his father Warren Worthington, Jr. and an unnamed mother and even at this age, his mutation, a pair of wings, was evident. Specifics about his early life are largely unknown, but it seemed that Warren's father was ashamed of him and when he received an offer to send his son to a boarding school for mutants, he gladly accepted.
When Warren first entered the school, he garnered some attention for his angel-like appearance, particularly from the student Rogue, who felt his appearance may have religious significance. Such fervor, as well as enmity, showed up outside the school gates when the student Beast leaked pictures of Warren and his wings onto the Internet.
