Angel Salvadore is a superheroine in the Marvel Universe and former X-Men member known for her surly attitude.
Origin[]
After her abusive father discovered she was a mutant, Angel Salvadore was kicked out of her home and rescued by Wolverine from villains plotting to harvest her mutant body parts. She soon joined Xavier's school as a student.
Biography[]
Not much is known about Angel's life before discovering she was a mutant save that she had an abusive homelife in a trailer park. When her mutant gene finally activated, she started exhibiting insect like qualities, including translucent wings and acidic saliva (as well as a mouth capable projecting it). Because of this, she was kicked out of her own home by her own abusive step-father.
She was soon attacked by the U-Men, a group of criminals who target mutants, harvesting powerful or pleasing body parts in the hopes of making themselves more mutant-like or selling them to buyers. She was rescued by the superhero Wolverine, and he took her to give her protection at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters. She ended up joining the student body as part of the special class and met with and started a relationship with the bird-like mutant Beak. When attacked by the U-Men, she and the special class were saved by their teacher Xorn, who murdered the U-Men and earned Angel's trust.
