Batgirl (Cassandra Cain) is a superheroine and former assassin who took on the mantle of Batgirl in the DC Universe.
Origin[]

Cassandra as the Black Bat
Raised from birth to be the perfect killer, Cassandra Cain learned to read body language perfectly. However, when her assassin father ordered her to kill her first victim, she read his feelings and her empathy that was strengthened with her training caused her to realize the depth what she had done. Cassandra then ran away, only to resurface years later, where she was recruited by Oracle to become the next Batgirl.
Biography[]
Birth[]

Cassandra Cain as Orphan
Cassandra was born to David Cain and Sandra Wu-San, both of whom were infamously lethal martial artists, who conceived her with the intent of making the perfect bodyguard for the international criminal mastermind and terrorist Ra's al Ghul.
