Tlano was a scientist from the planet Zur-En-Arrh who learned about Batman's adventures on Earth. Inspired by him, he decided to play the same role on his home planet and became the Batman of his homeworld.

Batman of the planet Zur-En-Arrh's past remains unknown. Tlano was an alien from the planet Zur-En-Arrh who observed Batman's exploits with a high powered telescope.
