Luke Fox was admired Batman and trained as a fighter to gain his attention so he could live up to his potential. Seeing his potential. Batman took him under his wing and the opportunity to take on the identity of Batwing, after the previous Batwing retired.

Luke Fox was born the son of Lucius and Tanya Fox and was born and raised in Gotham City.
