Blink is a superheroine in the Marvel Universe and a member of the Exiles (in an alternate universe).

Terrified by her own powers, Clarice Ferguson sought to find a way to control her own powers, causing her to ally herself with the X-Men.

Very little is known about Blink's childhood is unknown.  Blink was born a mutant (though at what age exactly she discovered her power is unknown) with the power to generate portals in space, and is even capable of creating javelins that can teleport their targets.  However, Claire could not control her powers properly, as whatever she teleported would not be teleported intact.

When the alien race known as the Phalanx attacked the Earth, targeting powerful mutants, Blink herself was one of those targets.  The X-Man Banshee and former villainess Emma Frost worked together to bring these teenage mutants together to help fight back against the Phalanx.  Blink was able to defeat Harvest, a member of the Phalanx in charge of capturing mutants to turn into Phalanx, but at the cost of her own life.

Later, it was revealed that Blink had survived, only to be discovered by the mutant villain Selene.  Selene used her mental powers to manipulate her and turn her against the X-Men as a member of the Inner Circle, a part of the Hellfire Club.  The Hellfire Club was defeated but Blink managed to escape and still loyal to Selene due to her brainwashing, attempted to find a way to resurrect her.  Eventually, the X-Men caught up with her and, with the help of sorcerer Doctor Strange, were able to break her free from her brainwashing. When she was asked to join the X-Men, she refused the invitation and went her own way.

Appears in X-Men: Days of the Future Past and Wolverine and X-Men.
