Bulletman (Jim Barr)is a superhero in the Fawcett and DC Universes.
Origin[]
Despite Jim Barr's desire to become a cop, his physical weaknesses prevented him from entering the police force. Focusing on ballistic sciences, Jim created both a "crime cure" that increased one's physical prowess, as well as the gravity regulator helmet, a bullet-shaped helmet that made him able to fly and deflect bullets. Jim then decided to use his newfound powers to fight crime as Bulletman.
Biography[]
Fawcett Comics[]
James "Jim" Barr was raised by his father, a police officer (any information about his mother remains unknown). When his father was murdered on the line of duty, Jim decided to dedicate himself to fighting crime and worked towards becoming a police officer. When he graduated from High School, he attempted to become an officer but ended up being rejected by the police academy due to his weak body. Instead, Jim decided to move towards to the study of ballistics and was a brilliant chemistry genius.
