Cain is a character in the DC Universe based on the biblical Cain and the keeper of the House of Mystery.

OriginEdit

One of the first humans, Cain was the first to commit the act of murder on his brother Abel, due to his jealousy. As punishment, he was cursed to compulsively kill his brother forever and was given a home in the House of Mystery.

BiographyEdit

A long time ago, Cain and his brother, Abel, were born of the first man and woman, Adam and Eve. When both brothers were asked to provide a sacrifice for God, God favored Abel's bounty, causing Cain to become insanely jealous and murder his brother, committing the first murder.
