The Cockroach is a recurring superhero character who is recurring in the fantasy comic book series Cerebus.
Origin
A merchant and former sorcerer, the Cockroach claims he took on the identity to avenge his slain parents, though he may simply be insane.
Biography
The exact true history of Cockroach and even his true name is unknown. It is known that he is both a former magician, as well as a merchant. Due to the influence of philosopher and leader of the Order of the Illuminati, Adam Weishopt, the Cockroach developed multiple personality disorder. This caused the merchant to take on the identity of a superhero, calling himself the Cockroach. Over time, the Cockroach has multiple encounters with Cerebus, 9Dedosbeing thus indicated by the operation LAVA-JATO was arrested and tried.
