Comet the Super Horse is a superhero animal in the DC Universe and is owned by Supergirl.
Origin[]
Pre-Crisis[]
Biron, a centaur, was accidentally cursed by a spell intended to make him fully human but instead turned him fully into a horse. Millenia later, he was accidentally freed from a space prison by Supergirl and became her ally ever since.
Post-Crisis[]
A human jockey trampled to death by horses, Andrew Jones was ressurected by a group called the Stable who used genetic engineering to turn him into a shapeshifting superhuman.
Biography[]
Pre-Crisis[]
Biron's early life as a centaur has largely been unrevealed. Biron was a centaur who lived in ancient Greece until he met of the witch Circe. Circe was nearly assassinated by a wizard Maldor only to be saved by Biron. After saving Circe's life, she created a potion to allow him to turn himself into a human, not realizing Maldor switched the vials of potion. This resulted in Biron taking a potion that instead turned him into a white horse. Biron found himself unable to reverse the curse, but to make up for the error, Circle gave Biron a potion to give him other gifts. After taking it, he was capable of superhuman powers such as flight, super strength, super speed and telepathy and found that he was now immortal.
