Biography[]
Early Life[]
Dr. Margaret Alexandra “Peggy” Carter was born to unnamed parents in Richmond, Virginia in June of 1920. From a wealthy family, she was considered "Virginia royalty" and grew up with her brother Harrison in a lavish mansion. For a time as a young woman she was in a relationship with a young black man who left her due to the racial climate of the times. On the night of the break-up, Peggy was approached by Alexa Volkoff, who was looking to recruit strong young women for a new allied organization; the Daughters of Liberty. After being fully trained, she left for France to help the Allied forces in World War II.
World War II[]
By 1943, Peggy had become part of the French Resistance with the codename Agent 13.
An alien artifact called the Cosmic Cube brought Peggy to the present day as a superhero known as the Dryad.
Media[]
