Fartman was a superhero character created by Howard Stern for his radio show.
Origin[]
No origin has ever been given to Fartman.
Biography[]
Not much detail has been given about Fartman's youth or how he became a superhero. The character made many appearances on Howard Stern's radio program, as well as an appearance for the 1992 MTV Music Video Awards.
More recently the character appeared fighting the supervillain Tight Ass, who has the ability to squeeze weapons out of his ass.
Powers[]
Fartman has various powers related to flatulence.
Super Flatulence - Fartman has the power of super flatulence, which is far stronger, smellier and more forceful than average flatulence, capable of knocking out his enemies.
Flight - Fartman is capable of flight by being propelled by his own flatulence.
Skills and Abilities[]
In some of his appearances, he is shown to be experienced in fighting criminals with his flatulence.
Appearance[]
Though the character of Fartman was largely relagated to radio appearances, his phyical appearance has been seen in multiple media, including the National Lampoon magazine, an award show appearance and a short film. In most versions, he is shown wearing a tight yellow shirt with his name on it that shows his waist and in the MTV Awards show appearance, the costume included a brown codpiece, assless pants and large sunglasses.
