Elektra appeared in the 2003 movie Daredevil. She is the daughter of Nikolas Natchios, a businessman who was dealing with Wilson Fisk, an extremely wealthy businessman who was secretly the Kingpin of crime in New York City. Growing up, she had extensive martial arts training, making her an extremely talented martial artist. When her father crossed Wilson Fisk, Fisk had him assassinated by the hitman known as Bullseye.
