Fantomah's origins are unknown.
Biography[]
Fantomah's past remains unknown. Referred to as Mystery Woman of the Jungle, is a being who can transform into a skeleton-like entity or look like her normal state of a beautiful blonde woman. She defends the jungle and its inhabitants from invasion.
In the first story, she follows an elephant to the elephant graveyard. Two greedy explorers follow as well, where they find a wealth of precious stones and elephant tusks. At the graveyard, Fantomah confronts them in her skeletal form, warning them of their impending doom. One explorer stabs the other, but is soon mired in quicksand and suffocates.
She later battled Org, an entity who controlled giant spiders with drums and Professor Zomax, a man who declared war on nature.
Powers and Abilities[]
Fantomah can transform from the appearance of a beautiful woman to a skeleton form. She can fly, and has superhuman strength along with other magical abilities.
