Isamot Kol is a Green Lantern and a superhero in the DC Universe.
Origin[]
After being scheduled to be executed for killing a commanding officer, Isamot Kol was saved at the last moment by being recruited for the Green Lanterns.
Biography[]
Isamot Kol is a Lizardkon, a species native to the planet Thanagar and was likely born there. Much of Isamot Kol's history prior to joining the Green Lanterns remains unknown. At some point, Isamot joined the Thanagarian army, but when his commanding officer demanded they surrender to an army of people from the planet Rann, Isamot killed him. Isamot lead his squad against the Rannians and defeated them and upon his return to his superiors, his fellow men tried to explain the commanding officer's death as an accident. Kol, however, refused to lie, as he felt honesty, despite the consequences, was the most important virtue.
