Janus is a two-faced (literally) dispatcher in the superhero police procedural comic Top 10.
Origin[]
Janus' origin has yet to be revealed, as well as whether she is simply a two-faced woman or the Janus of legend in the form of a woman.
Biography[]
The background of Janus (Linda Burnett) the dispatcher is largely unknown, as well as why she has two-faces and if she is (or is related to) the God Janus. It is known that she hails from Grand Central, an alternate reality where the Roman Empire never fell and Gods and other magical beings live. It is also known that both of her faces are distinct individuals referred to as "Front Jan" and "Back Jan". After years of dedicated service, she eventually quit over new officer Major Cindercott's new rule of check-ins every quarter hour, which she found unreasonable.
