The SWAT Kats are a superhero duo from the cartoon series SWAT Kats: The Radical Squadron who fight crime in a special designed jet.
Origin[]
Two police officers who were fired began a secret life as high flying crime fighters known as the SWAT Kats.
History[]
Jake Clawson and Chance Furlong were former officers in the paramilitary police force of Megakat City known as the Enforcers. However, the two ended up disobeying orders while in pursuit of a super criminal and their actions resulted in the destruction of Enforcer Headquarters, albeit in part because of their overzealous commander, Commander Feral.
