Firestorm is the name of several characters in the DC Universe who have been fused together into the titular gestalt superhero.

Origin[]

Caught in a nuclear accident, high school student Ronnie Raymond and Nobel Prize-winning physicist Martin Stein found themselves merged into a single entity with transmutation powers.  The two found they could fuse and unfuse at will, in order to transform into the superhero Firestorm.

Biography[]

Pre-Crisis[]

Firestorm was an entity made of two humans: Ronnie Raymond and Martin Stein. Ronnie was a high school student while Stein was a Nobel Prize-winning scientist who met by a twist of fate when Ronnie found Martin in a lab filled with TNT set to explode by a terrorist organization.
