Biography

Birth

In 1788, Victor Frankenstein left his hometown of Geneva, Switzerland to study at the University of Ingolstadt, where he became fascinated with the prospect of creating life using the bodies of the dead.  Eventually, Frankenstein succeeded by sewing together a patchwork creature and using chemical treatments and electrolsis to bring it to life.  However, the scientist was horrified by the creature he had created and left for Geneva, leaving the creature, who had the mind of a child, to survive by itself.

The Monster walked for days and nights, nearly dying of starvation until killing a bear in self-defense, consuming its meat and using its pelt to keep him warm.  The Monster stayed away from populated areas and nursed a hatred for his creator due to him abandoning him. During it's journey's, the monster stumbled over the De Lacy family and it's patriarch, an old blind man and realizing that the main wouldn't be scared of his visage, hid himself from the family until he could approach the senior De Lacy and befriend him.
