Guy Gardner is a superhero in the DC Universe and a member of the Green Lantern Corps.
Origin
When Abin Sur came to Earth, his ring detected to possible replacements: Hal Jordan and Guy Gardner. Hal became the successor, but when he discovered it could have been Guy, the two met and Guy was given the status as a "back up" Lantern, before becoming a Lantern himself.

Equipment and Power
The Green Lantern power ring which gives him the same powers all Green Lanterns have, and he has a Red Lantern power ring which gives him: Red plasma (the red lantern vomited red plasma which burns anything), they could shoot energy blasts of RAGE, energy constructs, flight, force fields like the Green, it gives others infectious RAGE, it feeds on RAGE, it makes you vomit all of your blood and it destroys your heart.
