Heroes for Hire is a fictional superhero team in the Marvel Universe.

Origin

When Iron Fist teamed up with Power Man (known locally as the Hero for Hire), the two continued the business, and later expanded their ranks.

History

Originally, the superhero Luke Cage, in order to support himself, decided to become a "hero for hire", selling his services to those who could afford them. After Cage was exonerated of all charges, his friend Jeryn Hogarth celebrated with a party that was crashed by villains Stilleto and Discus.
