Biography[]
Golden Age/New 52/DC Rebirth[]
In ancient Greece, Queen Hippolyta ruled Amazonia, a society of women warriors known as the Amazons.
Post-Crisis[]
Hippolyta was one of several women created by the Goddesses of Olympia to create a new race. She had to replace Diana as Wonder Woman temporarily when Diana became the Goddess of Truth and even traveled back in time to World War II where she helped the Justice Society of America, and solved the paradox of Wonder Woman being a JSA member before Diana was even born.
