Hitoshi Shinso is a superhero in training in the manga and anime series My Hero Academia.
Origin[]
Hitoshi Shinso discovered he had the power to control minds. Though wanting to be a superhero, many people noted that his power was more suited to a villain. A bit angry but undaunted, he decided to attend U.A. High School to gain training to become a superhero.
Biography[]
The specifics of Hitoshi Shinso's childhood is unrevealed, save that he was born in the Saitama Prefecture. When he discovered his powers to control minds as a child, he was told that his power was more suited to a villain, giving him something of a complex and a drive to prove them wrong. He also became envious and bitter towards people who were more traditionally "heroic".
Hitoshi applied to U.A. High School, a school for superheroes, and ended up failing the exam due to the limits of his powers but but made it into the schools "General Education Department", hoping that hard work could get him into the Hero Course of the school through different methods. He became the class of A-1 with other similar students and decided he would find a way to get to become a superhero and found the opportunity at the school sports festival. Wanting to show the students of the Hero Course that those who couldn't make it have ambition, he "declared war" on the Hero Course with the intent of usurping them with his team by defeating them in the sports festival.
