Origin
Bartholomew Allen was the grandson of the superhero Barry Allen from the future but due to his bloodline he suffered from hypermetabolism which caused him to age rapidly. Bart was raised in a virtual reality world for his own protection and after traveling in time to the present, his ailment was cured by Wally West. Bart then became a superhero in his past as Impulse.
Biography
Bart was born in the 39th Century to Don Allen and Meloni Thawne, both of which were descendants of the superhero the Flash and supervillain the Reverse-Flash, respectively. However, shortly after his birth, the family found themselves targeted by the Reverse-Flash himself, who was planning to end the union between the two clans. However, shortly after Bart was born, his family was attacked by the Reverse-Flash, who was hoping to end the newfound bond between the two families.
