Insectoid (Dragonflyin Spain), is the DNA sample of a Lepidopterran from the Planet Lepidopterra in the Omnitrix. He is one of the 10 original aliens of the Omnitrix. He first appears in the episode Learning to be a Ben 10 Hero.

Etymology[]
Its name alludes to its insect-like appearance (Greek derivation suffix, oide: similar).
In English, its name is Stinkfly, and it is divided into two characteristics; Stink is English for stink, due to its bad smell, and fly is English for fly, due to its appearance to a fly, which would be stink fly.
In Spain, its name is Dragonfly, due to its aspects to a dragonfly, these being the abdomen longer than the head and the thorax together, and also because this is a Lepidopterran or lepidopteran and the dragonflies belong to a branch of the lepidoptera.

Ben 10[]
Ben Tennyson: Insectoid has an insect body, flat wings, and 4 legs with 2 arms whose human-style hands are black in color, similar to fingerless gloves, and 3 clawed fingers. He has 4 pedunculated eyes that are quite small and yellowish-orange in color. These eyes are linked directly to the sides of his huge black head. Its wings are very brittle with lines on them. Its limbs are greenish-brown, but its wings are light green. Insectoid bears the Omnitrix symbol on the upper part of the forehead. In his transformation, his arm is seen changing to green as his claws come out, then his head is focused on him so that his eyes come out of the sides of this, then his back is seen where the wings appear and legs, to finish focusing the omnitrix and Insectoid moving its wings.

Ben 10: Alien Supremacy[]
16-year-old Ben: The Insectoid Ultimatrix symbol is on his chest, his eyes are green, and he's not wearing gloves.
10-year-old Ben: looks the same as 16-year-old except that he has the Omnitrix symbol on his forehead which is green.
Ben 10: Omniverse[]
16-year-old Ben: The 16-year-old Insectoid has larger wings and his clothing extends only to his forehead. It has lighter skin, the Omnitrix has returned to its forehead, it now has larger eyes and pupils, and its body and tail are larger. sixteen-year-old insectoid has green clothes. Just like in Alien Supremacy, he no longer has gloves and his tail and body look bigger.
11-year-old Ben: Looks like his 16-year-old version, except he's younger, and the green color of his clothes is white.
Ben 10,000 as Insectoid[]
Insectoid's body style is almost the same as in the original series, with the only differences being that his eyes are larger and have black pupils, his stinger and legs are larger, and his clothing is inverted, similar to Ben 10,000. .
Edit transformation[]
It starts with his arm which turns green and his hand turns into a black claw, then it goes to his face which turns black and he has 4 antennas on the sides, then he goes to his back which has wings and an additional 4 legs, then the camera focuses on the omnitrix and zooms out for Insectoid to pose.
