Lyja is a superhero in the Marvel Universe and is the ex-wife of the Human Torch.
History[]
Lyja was a Skrull secret agent sent to infiltrate the Fantastic Four by assuming the form of Alicia Masters and taking her place after the Skrulls kidnapped the real Alicia. During her time as “Alicia”, Lyja fell in love with the Human Torch and the two eventually married. However the marriage was annulled after Thing revealed that Lyja was a Skrull impersonating Alicia.
Lyja, desperate to keep the Human Torch in her life, betrayed the Skrulls and helped rescue the real Alicia. She joined the Fantastic Four as a probationary member only to fake her death and rejoin the Skrulls. However her love for the Human Torch caused her to waver and reveal that she was alive.
Powers[]
Like all Skrulls, Lyja is able to shapeshift herself into any living creature of similar mass. Lyja can fly by shapeshifting her arms into wings.
Skrull scientists gave Lyja the power to fire burning blasts of coherent light energy from her hands.
