When Micky Moran meets an astrophysist, he tells him the strange magic word that gives him fantastic atomic powers to fight crime as Marvelman.

Created by a mad scientist using alien technology, Micky Moran discovers later in his life that he is a superhuman capable of swapping his human body for a powerful alien body.

Micky Moran was an orphan and his true parents were never revealed. It is implied that he hails from the state of Oklabama. Micky was once a mere newspaper copyboy until he met an astrophysicist who provides him with a magic word that can give him cosmic superpowers: "Kimota!" When Micky said the word, he transformed into a super-powered adult and was given the name Marvelman.
