Mechanismo is a superhero from the comic book series Empowered.
Origin[]
After sleeping with an android, Mechanismo caught a technological nanovirus that turned him into a robot.
Biography[]
Mechanismo's youth and life prior to becoming a superhero remains largely unknown. He was once a human until the day he had sex with an "anatomically complete" gynoid (an artificial lifeform). Through this he was infected with a nanotech STD which turned him into a mechanical life form. At some point, he joined the superhero team The Superhomeys and has been with them since.
Personality[]
Not much has been seen of Mechanismo's personality in his brief appearances. He is a member of the Superhomeys so it is likely he's pretty self-involved or, at the very least, has no issues working with the incredibly self-involved superhero team.
Powers[]
The full range of Mechanismo's powers are unknown. However, some powers are evident:
Armored Robot Physiology - Mechanismo is a human turned into a robot and his physiology reflects that. It also appears to be heavily armored, implying that he has a high level of endurance.
Flight - He is also shown being capable of flying.
Skills and Abilities[]
The extent of his skills and abilities is unknown, but it is implied that he has been fighting crime for a while.
