Mister Terrific is a superhero in the DC Universe, a member of the Justice Society of America and a genius in seemingly any field he applies himself to.
Origin[]
Michael Holt is a brilliant man who seems to have a "natural aptitude for natural aptitudes". However, having lost various loved ones to accidents, he became depressed. While attempting suicide, he is visited by the superhero spirit the Spectre, who tells him the story of the superhero Mister Terrific, Terry Sloane. Inspired, Holt chose to become the Mister Terrific of the modern day and use his seemingly endless array of skills to help others.
Biography[]
Michael Holt was born to unnamed parents in New York City who soon discovered that their son was unnaturally intelligent.
