The Monolith is a crime-fighting golem who appeared in the short-lived comic series The Monolith.
Origin
When a criminal named Peter asks a few too many questions about a firebombed textile factory, he is killed. His blood is used to create a golem to fight the mobsters, who also emulates Peter's nature.
Biography
In the 1920's, a woman named Alice was struggling to get by during the depression. She worked in a textile factory until it was firebombed by gangsters. Alice's friend Peter, who had mafia connections, confronted his superiors in the mafia about the attack and is killed as a result.
