Nico Minoru is a superheroine in the Marvel Universe and a member of the Runaways and A-Force.
Origin
When Nico Minoru discovered her parents were part of a deadly criminal supervillain group called the Pride, she and the other children of the Pride ran away from home. Soon after, Nico discovered her connection to the magical "Staff of One" her parents once possessed and now weilds it to fight evil as a superhero.
Biography
Childhood
Nico Minoru was born to Robert and Tina Minoru in Los Angeles, California. Robert and Tina Minoru lead double lives as evil sorcerers and at some point where approached along with ten other villains to do the bidding of the interdimensional race known as the Gibborim in exchange for power and influence. The twevve villains became known as the Pride and ended up in positions of incredible power and influence in Los Angeles. The cost is that only six of the twelve would survive and as the villains grew older, some of them said they would sacrifice their place in the new world of the Gibborim and give them to their children, including Robert and Tina. Nico would grew older having what she thought was a normal childhood, completely unaware that her parents were villains secretly using their abilities to amass power along with the rest of the Pride.
Over the years, the Pride would have an annual meeting, making human sacrifices to the Gibborim to help them increase their strength in exhange for power.
