Nighthawk is the name of several superheroes or supervillains in the Marvel Multiverse.
He first appeared as a Batman-based villain character from the Squadron Sinister group consisting of characters from villains based on the DC comic book justice league, then a group called Squadron Supreme who had good versions of the members of that team appeared. Unlike the others he had successors, one of them was a member of the Defenders.
Media
He appears in the cartoon Super Hero Squad Show, the original version of the character appears in the cartoon Avengers Assemble where he is much more like Batman than in the comics.
