O.W.C.A. (The Organization Without a Cool Acronym) is a super-spy organization that fights super-villains in the animated TV series Phineas and Ferb.

History

Not much is know about the history of the OWCA save that it was preceded by the SOKWCA (The Secret Order of Knights Without a Cool Acronym) in the early 20th century. In the modern day, OWCA acts as a spy agency that recruits particularly talented animals to help fight villains. There is a Canadian branch known as COWCA (Canadian Organization Without a Cool Acronym), as well. There is also a reference to HSWCA (The High School Without a Cool Acronym) but its unclear if they are connected.

The current highest authority is Wanda Acronym, though it is unclear whether she or if anyone in her bloodline is the founder, if that is her real name or if it is a coincidence. Under her is Major Monogram, who is in direct command of the agents, all of whom are animals with spy skills (though Monogram confesses to not knowing why his agents are animals.) The only humans who have been hired as agents are a man named Norm (fired quickly after being hired) and Heinz Doofenshmirtz, a villain attempting to reform, though was fired on the same day.

Colonel Contraction was a head of the O.W.C.A. and Major Monogram's superior, but due to overspending in an effort to defeat the evil organization L.O.V.E.M.U.F.F.I.N., was forced to shut down the O.W.C.A. However, Monogram was able to start a nearly identical organization in the same location.

The O.W.C.A. has long struggled with a severe budget crisis that often put a strain on resources. Later on, however, they discovered that the budget was much larger than initially thought due to the discovery of Major Monogram's history of confusing decimal points and commas.
