A pacifist diplomat, Christopher Smith encountered a high-risk situation that could not be solved peacefully. He created a second identity to defuse the situation, using his combat training and scientific know-how to become the espionage agent Peacemaker.

Christopher Smith was born to a army officer (who became a politician) and a research scientist (names unknown). His father taught him various army skills including fighting, weaponry and even how to fly a fighter jet.
