The origins of the People's Heroes remain unknown.
History[]
The details of how the People's Heroes were formed, though it was likely based on a desire by the USSR government to have a superhero team under their command. They answered directly to Premier Mikhail Gorbachev and were assigned to the Russian secret service. They had a battle against the superhero team known as The Outsiders and the government covert ops team The Suicide Squad. The team was later disbanded after members Hammer and Sickle attempted to assassinate the superhero Red Star. Members Bolshoi and Molotov both were recruited by the black ops group Red Shadows.
