Biography[]
Earth-One[]
Youth[]
Peter Joseph Ross's place of birth and parentage has not been revealed. At some point as a teenager, his family moved to the Kansas town of Smallville, the home of the superhero Superboy. There he meet Clark Kent, who he went to school with and befriended him. When the two went camping together, Pete learned that Clark Kent and Superboy were one and the same and thinking of his friend, kept the secret, even from Superboy himself. Pete not only became a friend to Clark Kent, but also an ally of Clark's "Superboy" identity.
Though Pete kept the secret to himself, he was publicly an ally of Superboy and his heroism even made him an honorary member of the Legion of Super-Heroes, a team of heroes from the future inspired by Superboy's deeds. They also informed him that his heroism and knowledge of Clark Kent's greatest secret would one day save the life of Superman.
Adulthood[]
As an adult Peter Ross became a widower (his wife's name was unknown) with his own son, Jonathon Ross.
