Pig-Iron is a superhero from the DC Multiverse (in Earth-C / Earth-26) and a member of the Zoo Crew.
Origin[]
Peter Porkchops was a pig working at a steel mill, when a meteor struck him and caused him to fall into a vault of molten steel. When he emerged, he became a being of living steel who decided to fight crime as Pig-Iron.
Biography[]
Peter Porkchops was born in Piggsburgh, Pennsylvania to parents that have yet to be named on the alternate universe of Earth-C, where the residents are anthropomorphic animals. In the alternate reality of Earth-One, the villain Starro attempted to bombard the Earth with a de-evolving ray, which the hero Superman attempted to block with a meteor.
In other media[]
In the Flash series, the villain Tony Woodward has the same origin story as this character.
The Zoo Crew made an appearance in Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure.
