Pogo Plane was a long-ranged vehicle used by the Fantastic Four in the Marvel Universe.
History[]
Super scientist Reed Richards created the Pogo Plane for the purposes to traveling from Earth into space. It has verticle landing and takeoff capabilities and was often used by the superhero team the Fantastic Four in their adventures. The original Pogo-Plane was destroyed by the supervillain team The Frightful Four on a pacific atoll but Reed Richards has built many since then. The Pogo Plane continues to be used by the Fantastic Four to this day, though more often the team uses their other form of transportation, the Fantasticar.
Trivia[]
The plane was based on the Convair XFY Pogo, an actual aircraft used between 1954 and 1956 and was an experiment in vertical take-off and landing.
