Ra's Al Ghul is a villain in the DC Universe and is primarily a foe of Batman.
Origin
A brilliant scientist, the man who would become Ra's al Ghul studied the Lazarus Pit, a location that allowed people to ressurect themselves. The scientist eventually lost faith in humanity and vowed to create a new better world at any cost. After over 600 year, the man renamed himself Ra's al Ghul and continues a mad crusade against the world.
Biography
The man who would become Ra's al Ghul (real name unknown) was born over 600 years ago in an Arabian desert tribe of nomads. At a young age, he developed an intense curiosity in science that his tribe were not prepared to help satisfy. This caused him to leave his tribe and move to the city where through his education he became physian.
