Silence (Andi Benton) is a superheroine in the Marvel Universe and the crimefighting partner of Agent Anti-Venom.

Origin[]

Andi Benton was the host of the Mania symbiote (a clone of the Venom symbiote) until it was stolen from her by Maniac. She then became host to the Scream symbiote. When Carnage began corrupting his sibling symbiotes, Andi had to burn off the Scream symbiote with a demonic power known as the Hell Mark. However pieces of the Scream symbiote remained in her body and when they were exposed to the Anti-Venom symbiote, Andi found herself host to a newly-created hybrid symbiote known as Silence.

Biography[]

Andrea "Andi" Benton was born on an October 27th to an unnamed father and mother, who helped birth Andrea in the back of their Chevy when an accident made them unable to reach the hospital. Shortly afterward, Andi's mother left her in the care of her father, which would become a source of anger and frustration for her growing up.
