BiographyEdit

Not much is known of Sally Juspeczyk's childhood, save that she was born in 1920.  For reasons unknown, she ran away from home and eventually became a waitress and burlesque dancer.  She also changed her name to Jupiter to hide her Polish heritiage.  At age 18 (in 1938), she decided to become an adventuring hero and took the name Silk Spectre in the hopes of it boosting a hopeful modelling and acting career.  She soon gained popularity and was seen as a sex symbol, with even criminals admitting that getting caught by her would be a sort of badge of honor.

Due to her activities, the hero Captain Metropolis invited her to join a new team of superheroes called the Minutemen.
