Skylar Storm (Connie Valentine) is a superheroine and one of the central characters on the Disney sit-com Mighty Med.
Skylar Storm is played by Paris Berelc.
Origin[]
An alien superhero, Skylar Storm lost her powers to the super-villain The Annihilator, forcing her to face a new life as a regular human or "Normo".
Biography[]
Superhero[]
The early childhood and origins of how Skylar Storm became a superhero are she was born and raised by a blob of lava that didn't have a mouth. What is known is she originated from the planet Caldera and had a successful and fulfilling superhero career on Earth. However, during a fight with the super villain The Annihilator, Skylar had her powers taken away, at which point she is taken to Mighty Med, the hospital for superheroes.
Post-Hero Life[]
At Mighty Med, Skylar learned that she had lost her powers and met two young teens: Oliver and Kaz. The two boys ended up becoming workers at Mighty Med and she befriended them after the three teamed up to stop a villain named Megahertz from killing a patient. Soon, she started to attend the same school as Oliver and Kaz in her new identity as "Connie Valentine".
Over time, she became close friends with Oliver and Kaz both in the world of "normos" (powerless humans) and in adventuring. She also became slightly close to Alan. However, close to a year after losing her powers, Oliver and Kaz learn that if they can't restore her powers, they will never return. To this end, they decide to face The Annihilator in an attempt to get Skylar's powers back from him. Their plan seemed to work, but when they restored her power, The Annihilator was able to turn Skylar evil, causing her to become his henchman.
She assisted the Annihilator in his plan to turn the world's superheroes into villains. However, over time Skylar decided she didn't need the Annihilator's help anymore, defeated him and insisted that her former friends Oliver and Kaz join her in ruling the universe. Oliver managed to outwit Skylar and rob her of her powers once more, at which point the Annihilator returned and, in a final act of revenge, fatally wounded Skylar. Shortly thereafter, a superhero named Hapax the Elder finally killed the Annihilator freeing Skylar from his evil influence but leaving her in critical condition.
They returned to Mighty Med to try and save Skylar's life but it was too late and Skyler died. In desperation, Oliver and Kaz pleaded with their mentor Horace to do something and Horace revealed he was once known as Caduceo, a superhero with healing powers. He used his power to revive Skyler and the friends where reunited.
After Skylar was revived she helped Kaz and Oliver defeat other super villains such as Mr. Terror- Oliver's mother- and place her in prison. During this time, Mighty Med was destroyed by two shapeshifters, claiming the lives of multiple superhero. After the fallout of Mighty Med's destruction, Skylar became a part of the Elite Force, which went to war with the family of the former superhero Rodissius.
