The first incarnation of Slash appeared in the 1987 animated series of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Origin[]
Slash was a pet turtle owned by the mutant villain Bebop, who mutated him to be his own henchman. Soon after, he went rogue, acting as an enemy to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and his former owner.
Biography[]
Slash was the name of a pet turtle owned by the villain Bebop (which he kept secret due to his master Shredder's feelings on turtles). The small turtle seemed particularly attached to a small plastic palm tree that Bebop referred to as Binky.
