Biography
Phil Grayfield's history is largely unknown. Phil was an aspiring professional football player who received a career-ending injury on his knee while saving a small child. Unable to play sports, he decided to transition into sports reporting. One story had him covering an eccentric sports fan and scientist who created a football uniform incredibly resistant to damage.
During the interview, thieves burst in to steal the scientist's football memorabilia and set his house on fire. Grayfield, trapped in the house, ended up doused in chemicals that mutated him and helped him survived the fire and turned him nearly invincible. Grayfield then put on the uniform to protect himself and saved Ken and stopped the criminal.
