The Super Globetrotters is a superhero basketball team in the animated series The Super Globetrotters and are based on the actual Harlem Globetrotters team (though with members created for the series).
Origin[]
How the Globetrotters became the Super Globetrotters remain unknown.
History[]
How the Globetrotters, the world famous basketball team, gained superpowers remains unknown except it involved exposure to an element called Globotron (which is also their weakness). What is known is that by day they are celebrity basketball stars for the team The Harlem Globetrotters. Using a computer called the Crime Globe, the Globetrotters are alerted to crimes which they then stop, often by challenging their foes to a basketball game. The Globetrotters would fight various new villains and both parties would agree to resolve their dispute with a basketball game.
