Calvin Ellis is the Superman of Earth-23 in the DC Multiverse and leads a double life as the President of the United States of America.
Origin[]
Like the Superman of the main DC Universe, Calvin Ellis was sent to Earth as a young child from his dying world and adopted by loving human parents. As he grew older, he learned of superpowers he has due to exposure from the Earth's yellow sun. Deciding to use his powers to help others, he eventually became a superhero and President of the United States.
Biography[]
Kalel was born the son of Jorel and Lara on the science capital on Vathlo Island on the planet Krypton. When the planet Krypton faced annihilation from natural forces, native scientists Jorel and Lara created a special rocket so Kalel, could escape and live on Earth. Kalel was discovered by the Ellises, a farming couple who adopted the child as their own and named him Calvin. They raised him and encouraged him to fight for himself and others and to do the right thing.
