Taylor Hebert is the superheroine and the protagonist of the web serial Worm.
Origin[]
Following traumatic bullying, Taylor Herbert develops a power that allows her to control arthropods, although this is usually referred to as bug or insect control.
Biography[]
As a civilian, Taylor Hebert lived a relatively normal life until the death of her mother and bullying from her former best friend in high school. Some time after triggering she joined a villain team with the intention of gaining intel for the heroes, but ended up sympathizing with them and aiding in the takeover of her hometown Brockton Bay. She only joined the heroes when a precognitive told her to, and then turned herself in.
While with the heroes, Taylor was on probation for her crimes until she turned eighteen. She didn't always agree with how they worked, but Taylor still cooperated and eventually helped resolve an end-of-the-world scenario. Afterwards her powers were removed and she retired to an Earth where her mother was still alive.
