Origin[]
Greer Nelson became the vigilante known as the Cat after the murder of her husband. The Cat met a race of evolved felines called the Cat People while fighting HYDRA agents in Europe. The Cat People transformed her into a weretiger when she was dying of radiation poisoning after being shot with a HYDRA weapon. Greer then became Tigra.
