Top 10 is a precinct of superhero police officers were everyone is a superhero, villain or in some way paranormal.
Origin[]
The Tenth Precinct was installed after the creation of Neopolis in order to keep order in a city of paranormal entities.
History[]
Early Days[]
Shortly after the end of World War II, it was brought to the attention of the world the increasingly large numbers of superheroes, villains and other extranormal entities. The city itself was designed by a former Nazi scientist, who also became citizens and was designed to be a self-contained city with it's own infrastructure and government and provided amnesty to heroes and villains who were previously outlaws. This included the police force, which was largely made up of former superheroes.
In the early days of the city, Top 10 often dealt with former superheroes who were unaccustomed to putting away their vigilante ways and actually calling the police for help. In addition, they had to deal with a vampire crime family that had moved in following the establishment of Neopolis. Eventually hey succeeded in taking down the vampire mafia, as well as a time traveler intent on rewriting history. Police officers of note at the time included former boy adventurer Steve Traynor (known in his superhero days as Jetlad).
Late 20th/Early 21st Century[]
In the late 20th Century, Neopolis had grown significantly and the precinct was forced to adapt to the city sharing space with other multiversal cities and various populations. Notable officers included Jeff Smax, Hyperdog, Irma Geddon, Girl One, Peregrine, Shock-Headed Peter, and Dust Devil to name a few during this era.
